The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Representative to join our Adelaide (Dry Creek) office, focusing on industrial access solutions including scaffold hire, sales, and labour contracts. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the SA market, targeting mining, oil & gas, infrastructure, and defence clients. This is a field‐based role with a defined territory, offering autonomy to build and nurture key relationships while hitting ambitious revenue targets delivering the same high‐stakes, customised access solutions that power complex industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to maximise revenue from within the industrial sector
* Client Relationship Management: Maintain and deepen ties with existing customers and their subsidiaries, acting as the go‐to point of contact for scaffold hire, sales, and industrial services.
* New Business Development: Prospect and qualify leads from current accounts, converting them into long‐term partnerships through targeted outreach and solution selling.
* Cross‐Selling Excellence: Collaborate with formwork and specialty teams to bundle offerings, such as Acrow's formwork systems and the innovative QuikDeck for suspended access, to enhance client value.
* Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends in SA's resources and construction sectors, providing insights to support strategic planning.
* Reporting & Compliance: Track sales performance, prepare quotes/proposals, and ensure all activities align with Acrow's safety and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
* 5+ years in sales, ideally in scaffolding, industrial access, construction hire, or related fields (e.g., mining/oil & gas equipment).
* Proven track record in territory management and revenue growth with strong negotiation and closing skills.
* Excellent relationship‐building abilities, with experience managing key accounts and cross‐selling complex solutions.
* Knowledge of civil, industrial, defence, oil & gas and commercial sectors; familiarity with SA regulations (e.g., WorkSafe) is a plus.
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, or equivalent preferred; valid driver's licence essential.
