Job Overview
As a Home Care Worker, you will provide home help services to aged care clients. These services include general housekeeping, cleaning, meal preparation, and personal care.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and mobility
* Preparing meals and snacks according to individual client needs
* Cleaning and maintaining the client's home, including laundry and ironing
* Assisting clients with medication reminders and appointments
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, lifting and bending
* First Aid and CPR certification an asset
