Job Description
As a Department Manager, you are responsible for supporting the sales and profit goals by setting a plan for your department to deliver a great customer experience in line with your store. You ensure you have a great team and support their development through succession planning, talent development, and structured performance management based on results, values, and leadership.
Key responsibilities:
1. Regularly analyze and follow up on sales & profit KPIs for your department, working with the Visual team to maximize sales.
2. Drive the Hello Member program in line with country goals.
3. Ensure your department continuously meets H&M standards and follow up using the Customer Experience Tool.
4. Together with your Visual Team, implement the Commercial Handbook.
5. Evaluate and manage your team's performance; provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, develop plans, and take appropriate actions to improve performance and develop your team.
6. Actively work with a talent pipeline in your department to support the business and store needs.
Qualifications
To succeed as a Department Manager, you should be a positive, inclusive, and creative leader who enjoys being on the shop floor with colleagues and customers. You have a desire to learn and grow, sharing this passion with your team of Sales Advisors. Your commercial mindset and coaching approach are motivated by turning actions into results, and you understand that delegation is key to team growth and store success. You are communicative, socially confident, and foster positive interactions with colleagues and customers.
What you need to succeed:
* Customer-centric mindset.
* Experience analyzing commercial reports and creating plans to maximize sales.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to delegate, follow up, and provide straightforward feedback to coach and develop your team.
* Previous leadership experience in a similar role with proven results in driving KPIs and team development.
