Lead People and Culture Strategist

We are seeking a skilled and innovative professional to lead our People and Culture function. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is central to shaping the associate experience, driving engagement, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with our company values.

The successful candidate will be responsible for championing and implementing HR strategies that deliver business results and support operational excellence. This will involve partnering with department heads to drive performance, engagement, and workforce planning.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
* Partner with department heads to drive performance and engagement.
* Provide expert advice on legislation, awards, policies, and procedures.
* Conduct investigations, manage grievances, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
2. Talent Acquisition and Development:
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
* Develop and maintain the resort's talent acquisition strategy, including local networking and recruitment channels.
* Support performance reviews, succession planning, and talent development.
3. Learning and Development:
* Design and deliver training programs and department-specific learning initiatives.
* Promote global learning platforms and leadership development pathways.
4. Associate Experience:
* Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle from inviting and welcoming to connecting and growing.
* Organise and execute events and activities to foster a caring and engaged community.

About You:

* Hospitality experience required in either HR or an operational role.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR Business Partner or advisory role; hospitality experience highly regarded.
* Experience managing a team.
* Strong knowledge of Australian HR/IR legislation.
* High-level communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing.
* Self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment.
