We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team at our Traralgon manufacturing facility .
About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining the smooth and safe operation of our equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
* Promptly responding to equipment breakdowns.
* Executing/ developing planned preventive maintenance schedules.
* Coordinating with third-party suppliers and contractors for repairs and services.
* Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Promoting a strong culture of occupational health and safety.
* Performing other duties as required, including occasional after-hours call-outs.
* Flexibility to work across shifts as needed.
Skills and Experience
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented technician with:
* At least 3 years' experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.
* Experience in the dairy or broader food industry. (Preferred but not required)
* Ability to interpret technical documents and explain issues to non-technical team members.
* Strong general maintenance skills and understanding of preventative maintenance and asset management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Basic computer literacy for maintenance documentation and reporting.
