King's Baptist Grammar School is seeking an experienced and proactive Property & Facilities Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of our facilities, grounds, and assets across two vibrant campuses. This is a key leadership role ensuring our physical environment reflects the school's values and supports its educational mission.

Wynn Vale
, established in **** and now featuring state-of-the-art learning environments following significant upgrades, and
Adelaide Hills
, opened in **** and expanding to accommodate ELC–Year 5 students by ****. Both campuses include modern buildings, landscaped grounds, and gardens that create safe, functional, and welcoming spaces for students and staff. The Facilities Team plays a vital role in maintaining these environments to the highest standard.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Business, the role encompasses the following responsibilities:
Provide strategic oversight and leadership for all property and facilities operations.
Manage a dedicated team of Grounds & Maintenance staff across Wynn Vale and Adelaide Hills.
Oversee preventative maintenance programs, compliance, and risk management.
Lead minor capital works and refurbishment projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Manage budgets, contractor relationships, and ensure adherence to WHS and child safety standards.
Foster a positive team culture and mentor staff for continuous improvement.
A personal commitment to the King's Vision, Mission and values underpinning the delivery of a Christian based education to students is essential to this position.
The role also requires:
Proven experience in facilities and asset management, ideally in a multi-site environment.
Demonstrated strong leadership and team development skills.
Understanding of WHS legislation, compliance, and risk management.
Highly organised with attention to detail, adaptable, with the ability to manage projects and budgets effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role.
Current Driver's Licence (MR bus licence desirable or willingness to obtain).
Employment conditions are contained within the King's Baptist Grammar School current Enterprise Agreement.
