In this hands-on role, you\'ll be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated packing equipment to ensure efficient and accurate processing of fresh produce.
We\'re looking for reliable, safety-focused individuals with strong attention to detail and a willingness to work in a team environment.
Previous experience in food production or machine operation is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and monitor automated packaging machinery for potatoes and onionsEnsure products are packed according to quality and weight specificationsPerform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance to minimise downtimeIdentify and report equipment malfunctions or product issues promptlyMaintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with food safety and workplace health standardsAccurately complete production and quality control paperworkWork closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targetsFollow all company safety protocols and food handling proceduresLift, move, and load materials as required (may involve moderate physical activity)What We Are Looking ForPrevious experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or food processing environment (preferred but not required)Strong attention to detail and commitment to product qualityAbility to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentBasic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsWillingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as neededReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerGood communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and safety proceduresWhy Choose Mitolo Family Farms?
