The Position:
Byrnecut is actively seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to join our corporate office. If you're an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for a new and dynamic challenge in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply and become part of our dedicated finance team.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Receive and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Match invoices with purchase orders.
- Perform high-volume data entry with precision.
- Code and enter invoices into the Pronto accounting system.
- Process payments accurately and on time.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Respond to supplier inquiries and reconcile supplier statements.
- Ensure supplier accounts are current and accurate.
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Verify expense claims for compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Requirements:
- Experience with Pronto is preferred but not essential.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A solid understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
