About therole:
The Front of House (FOH) TeamLeader plays a key role in ensuring events at Saltwater and the OldCourthouse Complex run smoothly and professionally. Supervisingcasual food and beverage staff and volunteers, this role overseesall FOH operations across a wide range of events, includingconferences, community activities, live performances, andfunctions.
What you'll bedoing:
* Lead FOH operations across theatre shows, community events,performances and functions.
* Oversee food and beverage service, liaise with caterers andmanage bar stock.
* Maintain clean, safe and presentable FOH areas and followopening/closing procedures.
* Communicate event needs to hirers and internal teams,including technical services.
* Supervise and support bar staff and volunteers to deliverexcellent service.
* Frequent weekend and evening work is a requirement of thisrole, with penalty rates paid on weekends.
What you'll bring tothe role:
The ideal candidate will align withthe City's Values and be able to demonstrate the belowcompetencies:
* Minimum three years' experience in acustomerâ€'focused leadership role withinevents/hospitality.
* Experience supervising staff or volunteers.
* Excellent customer service, strong work ethic, and apositive, flexible approach.
