Job Overview
Providing a high level of evidence-based nursing care within the specialty area of mental health to improve access of care and address gaps in existing health care services through the provision of a flexible and innovative model of care.
The position will be based within the acute community mental health team.
Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based nursing care in mental health to improve patient access.
Lead clinically and professionally as an expert in the field.
Undertake comprehensive health assessments and collaborate with the health care team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
Integrate an innovative, flexible model of care to support best practice and maximize patient care outcomes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must be eligible for Nurse Practitioner endorsement under the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
The role is provisional for up to three (3) years until endorsement is achieved.
Candidates must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or legally able to live and work in Australia.
