MD Fresh Produce Darwin Pty Ltdis a leading supplier of wholesale and retail fresh and processed fruits and vegetables and operate a retail supermarket business based in Darwin, Australia. Established to provide high-quality produce to government institutions, private hospital groups, and large-scale commercial and retail clients. MD Fresh Produce Darwin Pty Ltdhas built a strong reputation for delivering safe, certified and high quality fresh and processed products.We employ a diverse workforce comprising permanent full-time, part-time, casual employees, and contractors.We are currently seeking a Human Resource Adviser to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

* Responsible for management and administration of human resource matters of all employees.
* Manage day-to-day HR matters.
* Responsible end-to-end coordination from advertisement of vacancies, shortlisting of applicants, interviews, recommendation of most suitable applicants and assist in final selections.
* Provide employer and job seekers with detailed information on current job vacancies, including job requirements, responsibilities, and employment conditions, while clearly explaining the recruitment and selection process from application submission through to final appointment
* Coordinate the on boarding of newly selected staff and provide them with information regarding their work hours, workplace, salary/wages, and future promotion opportunities
* Ensure employees are informed about their job responsibilities, work procedures, wages, overtime conditions, and terms and conditions of employment.
* Assess employee behaviour through regular floor presence, data analysis, and feedback mechanisms.
* Keep personal record related to all employees in a an organised and secure way
* Maintain HR systems and accurately record data regarding upcoming vacancies, while scheduling job advertisements to help prevent staff shortages.
* Assist in recruitment processes, negotiation of employment terms and conditions and wages.
* Evaluate staff performance, and make recommendations for promotions or improvements.
* Support management by developing communication plans and initiatives to provide briefings on current human resources policies and procedures, staff performance, disciplinary issues, misconduct and recommendations for improvement.
* Responsible for handling staff grievances by investigating complaints and issues related to the workplace disputes, employment conditions, or discrimination, and providing appropriate resolutions in a fair and professional manners.
* Manage HR operations, including contracts, reporting, and compliance requirements.
* Oversee full case management processes, including employee relation's issues and performance-related matters.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support recruitment, separation, and employee engagement initiatives.
* Regularly engage teams by conducting engagement activities, removing adoption barriers, and promoting positive behaviours while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships.
* Handle employee relations matter, including performance management, misconduct issues, grievances, investigations, and resolution processes.
* Possess strong knowledge and understanding of employment agreements, Fair Work Awards, workplace agreements, National Employment Standards, minimum working conditions, and wage entitlements.
* Ability to support and apply effective dispute resolution processes in the workplace.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws, workplace agreements, and implementation of organisational policies and procedures, while maintaining accurate HR records and documentation.
* Support the preparation of HR documentation, employment contracts, job descriptions, selection criteria and the implementation of policies and procedures.
* Serve as a trusted HR contact for employees and encourage the establishment of consultation committees to address workplace matters.
* Identifying and assessing future and current training needs.
* Manage the Training and Quality budget and resources, including workplace policies and procedures, to ensure targets and objectives are met.
* Formulate employment agreements in compliance with legislation, national standards, and company policies based on accountability, and incorporating provisions for wage increases linked to productivity and performance
* Encourage staff participation in workplace discussions and staff meetings to support engagement, collaboration, implementation of HR policies and programs and open communication.

Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:Key Skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on prevailing legislations
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to lead
* Excellent dispute resolution skills
* Ability to train, monitor, assess and provide recommendations for developments

Education &Qualifications: Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources, or a closely related field

Experience: A minimum of one year of full-time relevant work experience

Remuneration: The full-time position offers an annual salary of $82,000 plus superannuation
