This is an opportunity to join our experienced maintenance team based in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, allowing you to work locally while being part of a respected national business.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment to ensure reliability and performance. Your duties will include:
* Carrying out machine maintenance, including component change-outs, overhauls, inspections, diagnostics, and general repairs
* Completing planned maintenance and repair tasks safely, on schedule, and within budget
* Accurately documenting all work completed
* Working autonomously while adhering to site procedures, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines
* Contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organised workshop environment
Roster: Monday to Friday, 10-hour days, with optional overtime available.
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in a similar maintenance or component rebuild role
* Strong knowledge of internal components and heavy equipment systems
* Proven experience using CAT ET and SIS
* The technical capability to dismantle, rebuild, test, and return components to full serviceability
* Sound diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
* A flexible, team-focused approach and the ability to meet tight project deadlines
