*The Role:*As Designer, you will have end-to-end involvement in projects, ensuring each client's requirements are understood and integrated from concept to completion. This will include leading client discussions around design vision, workplace strategy, budget management, and buildability, ensuring design intent is maintained in accordance with budget and compliance.
Given their D&C focus, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the group's internal Design, Preconstruction, and Project Delivery Teams nationally. This will include taking part in project pitches and client presentations. *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* Develop functional, aesthetically aligned designs that meet client briefs and spatial characteristics while working collaboratively with internal Design, Preconstruction, and Project Delivery Teams.
* Create design documentation and assist with setting up submission and presentations across project stages (concept, tender, construction).
* Use design software (Revit, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite) to produce concept and construction issue documentation, as well 3D renders walkthroughs for client presentations and project pitches.
* Attend client meetings professionally, as required, to support any project engagement from briefing sessions, design presentations, documentation & costing reviews, site meetings etc – as part of the mentoring process.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal team members - as part of the mentoring process.
*Qualifications and Requirements:*
* Tertiary qualification in Architecture or Interior Design, and strong technical design/buildability knowledge.
* Have experience throughout entire design process/project cycle specific to commercial interiors projects.
* Ability to take projects from concept design stage through to design development, and construction-issue documentation.
* Comfortable working autonomously, while leading projects and/or client interactions independently when required.
* Experience with workplace strategy, spatial planning, cost management, and buildability coordination.
* Experienced using design software including Revit, Sketchup, Indesign and Photoshop.
