Main Responsibilities
* Manage the construction program on projects up to 20 million and implement mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
* Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
* Participate in monthly financial reviews, providing cost forecasts against budgets and using commercial acumen to make financial decisions.
* Work closely with clients, ensuring risks are mitigated and progress is communicated effectively.
* Lead and support a strong safety culture.
Requirements
* Extensive engineering experience on civil projects such as road, earthworks, drainage, land division, and infrastructure.
* Able to lead and manage smaller-scale projects.
* Sound understanding of the local construction industry and familiarity with contractors, councils, and clients.
* Current South Australian Driver's Licence.
