ABOUT THE ROLE

2. Base salary $70,607 + 11% superannuation

Are you looking to expand your leadership experience and play a key role in supporting and supervising a high functioning team?
This role will see you lead and provide on the job training to the Open Space Urban Vegetation team.
Key responsibilities include:
5. Organise, plan, implement and supervise Open Space urban vegetation works.
6. Assist in other areas to help achieve the overall department objectives.
7. Ensure safe and competent operations of plant and equipment.
8. Liaise with the community on specific projects or requests.
9. Ensure all daily work records and documentation are completed, including road and traffic management requirements.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful you will:
10. Certificate 3 in Arboriculture with experience in climbing and Elevating Work Plaform (EWP).
11. Experience in leading a team and coordinating daily planning and allocation of tasks to outdoor staff.
12. Experience and expertise in the Open Space Urban Vegetation maintenance practices.
13. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
14. Capable of carrying out manual labour tasks.
15. Ability to gain cooperation and work well in a team environment.
This role will be based predominantly in Leongatha, however will require regular travel to the Foster depot and throughout the greater South Gippsland Shire.
