We are working on behalf of a prominent landlord to find a skilled and motivated Property & Energy Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day management of commercial and industrial properties and energy solutions in the Perth region. If you have a strong background in property management and have experience and an interest in energy management, combined with excellent organisational skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities: Property Management: Assist the Property Manager in all aspects of property management, ensuring tenants’ needs are met and service is delivered promptly and professionally. Respond to tenant requests and problems, coordinate maintenance, and manage property documentation. Maintain accurate records, develop proficiency in relevant software, and ensure adherence to company policies. Assist with tenant move-ins and contractor coordination while seeking opportunities to reduce costs. Manage arrears and maintain property operations, manuals, and maintenance procedures. Energy Management: Support the Manager in liaising with electricity suppliers, contractors, and tenants to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Handle tenant inquiries, manage the billing process, and ensure proper account reconciliation. Prepare energy supply agreements, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Identify process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Safety & Quality Responsibilities: Comply with occupational health and safety guidelines, ensuring both personal and team safety. Take proactive action to address unsafe practices or conditions and investigate any incidents. Ensure work quality meets client expectations and adhere to the company’s quality systems and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Experience: Circa 3 to 5 years of experience in property management either as an assistant or property manager or property administration Cirrus8 training is preferred. Current Property Management Registration with CPD points. Strong competency in MS Office and property management software. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a professional presentation. Ability to manage time effectively, work autonomously, and prioritise tasks efficiently.
