NEURONIMBUS DIGITAL PTY LTD is seeking a skilled developer to join our team.
Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, one to two years of experience in software development, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, PHP or similar.

Task & responsibilities
System Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Consult with internal stakeholders to identify system, program, and business requirements.
Evaluate current software architecture and identify gaps, inefficiencies and technical limitations.
Interpret user stories, workflow documentation, and system specifications to define development tasks.
Software Design & Development
Design and build software components, applications or modules using approved programming languages and frameworks.
Write clean, secure, reusable and efficient code following best practice software engineering principles.
Implement integrations with APIs, databases, cloud platforms or third-party systems.
Enhance existing applications to improve performance, scalability and usability.
Testing, Debugging & Quality Assurance
Test software to identify bugs, logic errors or performance issues.
Use debugging tools and diagnostic techniques to resolve problems in application code.
Perform unit testing, integration testing and contribute to automated testing frameworks.
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and security requirements.
Deployment, Integration & Maintenance
Deploy software applications in production or development environments using version control and deployment pipelines.
Monitor application performance and implement updates, patches and enhancements.
Ensure compatibility of new solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
Manage source code using Git or other repository tools and maintain accurate version control records.
Documentation & Technical Specifications
Prepare technical specifications, process flows, application documentation and release notes.
Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Contribute to the preparation of user guides, support documents and solution designs.
Stakeholder Communication & Support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, UX, DevOps and management.
Provide technical advice, propose system improvements and support decision-making for new projects.
Liaise with non-technical stakeholders to provide guidance in simple, commercial terms.
Security, Compliance & Best Practice Standards
Apply secure coding practices and ensure software complies with internal security policies.
Conduct risk assessments relating to application vulnerabilities.
Implement data protection methods and adhere to relevant cybersecurity and privacy regulations.
Qualification & experience
Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
One to Two years of experience in software development
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, PHP or similar.
Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, .
NET, Node.js, Django or Spring (depending on business).
Understanding of API development, microservices, REST/GraphQL.
Strong knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Git, Docker, CI/CD).
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
