About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Parts Coordinator to support our Roma branch. The role is essential in ensuring seamless operations by managing parts procurement, overseeing stock, and supporting the maintenance team.
What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will workon a Monday to Friday basis. The role will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a variety of tasks inclusive of, but not limited to:
* Source and procure parts and materials required for site operations
* Following up requests from trade personsfor uncommon products by sourcing most suitable item at best available price
* Liaising with key suppliers to attain competitive pricing on all product purchases
* Maintain all administrative records for the service aspect of the project
* Receipting incoming product orders and reconcile product received to invoice and follow up missing or back ordereditems
* Ensuring all fleet and equipment services are scheduled in line with service procedures or manufacturer's guidelines, with parts readily available
* Managing inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control and documentation
* Occasional ad hoc duties as requested by the Branch Manager
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standards
About you
You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated procurement guru who possesses the following attributes:
* Previous experience as a parts interpreter, storeman, or similar role, preferably in a mining, civil, or heavy earthmoving equipment environment
* Strong knowledge of parts and components for plant and equipment
* Experience in CAT systems (advantageous)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* MR licence (advantageous)
* The ability to work autonomously, with minimal direction
* Good problem-solving ability with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
