Purpose of Role BGIS is seeking an experienced and proactive Works Supervisor to manage and coordinate the delivery of maintenance and trade services across designated sites. This role is responsible for supervising both subcontractor and self-perform teams to ensure all planned and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with contract requirements. The Works Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining service quality, achieving contractual KPIs, and ensuring adherence to client standards and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities: Manage all work types under the Contract – Responsive, Planned & Project works. Oversee the daily supervision of sub-contractors and self-perform works. Ensure compliance with contractual arrangements and statutory requirements. Conduct frequent audits to drive continuous improvement. Provide guidance to client personnel and subcontractors. Maintain high levels of customer service, holding regular customer meetings and providing prompt feedback. Monitor and report on subcontractor performance and service delivery. Prepare and analyse monthly reports on KPIs, performance metrics, and technical outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: Trade qualifications and technical training in a building-related field. Significant experience in the domestic or commercial building industry. Strong understanding of OH&S regulations and the Building Code of Australia. Demonstrated ability to supervise and monitor subcontractor activities. Proficient in financial tracking and managing high-volume maintenance contracts. Effective communicator with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
