About the Role
- Preparation of equipment, instruments and materials utilised in a variety of dental procedures including knowledge and understanding of the stages within a dental procedure and the ability to pre-plan and adapt as treatment proceeds and perform four-handed dentistry, chair-side assistance, and surgery management of stock.
- Monitoring of and assisting the operator in the management of patient well-being and anxiety level and an awareness of medical conditions.
- Assist in the prevention, identification, and management of medical emergencies.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn computer systems (ISOH), electronic records using FDI, Palmers Notation, dental specific language and terminology, and forensic charting.
