 
        
        Key accountabilities include: - Provide expert knowledge and strategic advice and guidance on health and wellness, Workplace Health and Safety, Workcover, rehabilitation, QSuper, risk management and case management matters to inform relevant stakeholders and support policy directions. Provide business focussed HR management advice, consultancy and support services on a wide range of HR matters to leadership and staff, including the interpretation of legislation and policy. Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative and effective workplace policies, practices and procedures. Prepare policy documents, communications, briefing notes, workforce reporting, and submissions on HR management and WHS matters. Develop and maintain partnerships and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, to facilitate consultation and negotiation on HR, WHS and policy issues to identify and develop solutions. Conduct WHS audits and risk assessments of HWQld workplaces and processes, identifying and reporting deficiencies and/or opportunities and recommending practical solutions. Manage the investigations of workplace incidents for HWQld. Lead special HR projects and take on critical work as required. 
Mandatory qualifications/Skilled registration/Other requirements 
It is highly desirable that the successful applicant holds a relevant higher degree qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
