Job Title: Technical Analyst – Aerospace, Defence & Manufacturing
Location: Boeing Australia (Melbourne or Brisbane with hybrid work options)
About the Role:
Boeing Australia is seeking a hands-on Technical Analyst years' experience) to support Solution Architects, DevOps Leads and Project Managers. You'll gather technical information from local and enterprise SMEs, produce planning artefacts, help de-risk designs with small proof-of-concepts, and perform hands-on DevOps tasks to support global systems operations modernisation across cloud and hybrid environments.
Due to the International nature of the role and business as a whole, there may be the requirement to support after hours meetings and calls, however flexibility is encouraged. Some domestic travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect and document technical requirements, application profiles, dependencies and data flows from stakeholders.
* Produce planning artefacts: implementation schedules, dependency maps, risk registers and input for business cases.
* Support DevOps activities: CI/CD, automation, environment provisioning (IaC), builds, and deployments.
* Help validate candidate solutions with proof-of-concepts and technical validations.
* Create clear runbooks, environment diagrams and handover documentation for operations teams.
* Support security/compliance and architecture compliance evidence gathering processes.
* Contribute to application lifecycle and remediation roadmaps, and escalate risks with proposed mitigations.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
* 7-10+ years in IT delivery, systems integration or DevOps-supporting roles (regulated industries preferred).
* Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling, application packaging and enterprise IT.
* Practical experience with Azure/M365 and/or AWS and hybrid environments.
* Strong technical stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
* Understanding of cyber/information security principles.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
* Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
* Experience with secure Defence Services systems.
