About the Trade Counter Role
This role involves providing excellent customer service and information about products to landscapers, irrigation specialists, and other tradespeople.
As a member of the trade counter team in Canberra, you'll help professionals access the products they need for their outdoor spaces, while undertaking various tasks that keep the branch running smoothly.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide customer service and information about products
* Offer quotes both in person and over the phone
* Undertake pick packing and stock control activities
* Contribute to maintaining a tidy and safe work environment
* Making occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail sales or customer service and a passion for helping customers
* Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays, and ensure accurate information is provided
* Comfort with using a computer and willingness to learn new systems
* A clean valid driver's licence and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
