* Oversee and maintain our AML/CTF program, ensuring it remains compliant with Australian regulations
* Provide guidance on regulatory obligations, including customer due diligence (CDD/KYC), transaction monitoring, and reporting
* Support risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls are in place to mitigate financial crime risks
* Review and advise on internal policies, procedures, and controls related to compliance and risk
* Assist with regulatory reporting obligations and liaise with relevant Australian regulators as needed
* Provide periodic compliance reviews and recommend improvements as the business evolves
* Support internal teams (product, legal, finance) on compliance‐related initiatives and questions
* Stay up to date with changes in Australian AML/CTF laws and advise on required updates
What you'll bring:
* Proven experience in a compliance role within fintech, payments, or financial services
* Strong knowledge of Australian AML/CTF regulations and expectations (e.g., AUSTRAC requirements)
* Experience acting as a Compliance Officer or similar designated role
* Ability to work independently in a consulting capacity
* Practical, business‐oriented mindset with the ability to balance compliance and growth
* Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‐functionally in a remote environment
Nice to have:
* Experience working with global or multi‐entity fintech companies
* Familiarity with payments, marketplaces, or cross‐border financial flows
* Experience setting up or scaling AML/CTF programs
Why you'll love working with us:
* Opportunity to shape compliance in a growing global fintech
* Work with a collaborative team across multiple time zones.
