Medical Receptionist — Full-Time Position

Hours: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday to Thursday (non-negotiable)

About the Practice
This is a private Obstetrics and Gynaecology practice based at Pindara Private Hospital in Benowa. Our doctors are not only highly experienced clinicians with special interests in high-risk pregnancies and women's health, but also a trusted caregivers known for their empathy, reassurance and clear communication. Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our team and uphold the high standard of support that our patients expect. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and a key contributor to the smooth running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and check-in patients professionally and courteously
* Manage appointment scheduling and reminders
* Answer incoming calls, emails and patient enquiries with empathy and clarity
* Process patient information, billing and Medicare rebates in line with clinic policy
* Accurately maintain patient records and data entry
* Liaise with medical staff, hospitals and external providers when required
* Assist with general administrative tasks and daily workflow coordination
Mandatory Requirements
✔ Previous experience using Gentu medical practice management software — you must already be familiar with this program.
✔ Availability to work 8:30 am – 6:00 pm Monday to Thursday weekly.
✔ Demonstrated experience in a healthcare or medical reception role.
