About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Accounts Officer/Bookkeeper to join our growing pratice located in Hills area, NSW. This part-time role will be responsible for managing the financial records and bookkeeping functions to support the smooth operation of our practice.
This position requires 15-20 hours per week.
What you'll be doing
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
* Processing invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner
* Reconciling bank statements and managing petty cash
* Preparing financial reports and statements as required
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Providing administrative support to the practice manager and other team members as needed
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance assistant role, preferably in the healthcare industry
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
* Proficient in using accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero
* Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is essential
* Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements for small businesses
* Australian work rights are required for this position
