As a Senior Project Manager/Agile Delivery Lead based in Gold Coast Engineering hub, you will have oversight of the delivery of multiple digital engineering squads defining the day-to-day activities of these squads, prioritisation of work and ensuring delivery, giving guidance and clearing the way to execute. You will also be accountable for all project delivery relating to their squads. Ensuring squad milestones, project governance and financials are maintenance. Your key responsibilities will include: Support your project team through end-to-end delivery including any necessary escalation and facilitate agile ceremonies. Manage delivery governance and project health including proactive RAID management and reporting of critical items early to Senior Management. Responsible for effective resource management of the teams maintaining the service, this includes effective demand & capacity projections together with key business stakeholders Acts as the primary point of contact for the squads and projects, engaging with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams. Collaborates with Business Product Owner, Program Delivery & Engineering & Test leadership to implement changes efficiently. Actively support various technology provider teams to enable efficient plan execution. Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks related to service performance, security, and compliance. What do I need? Experience leading and delivering complex projects, ideally within the Banking and Finance technology sector. Manage a project of work to deliver solutions/capabilities that meet business requirements and realise benefits within agreed scope, time, cost and quality The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, with proven expertise in systems integration and technical solutioning. Proven experience motivating their squads, coaching them and monitoring their performance. A background in digital engineering who has moved into delivery roles and can talk the language with the team across technology’s like ReactJS, NodeJS, Javascript and knows the full SDLC. As well as having a knowledge CI/CD practices. This role requires strong senior stakeholder engagement across both Business and IT, with previous experience managing combined Business-IT initiatives highly desirable.
