Your role The Good Shepherd Home’s (TGSH) Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) provides leadership and coordination of all clinical care within TGSH in consultation with the Director of Care and Clinical care leadership team. The CNM coordinates the delivery of high level clinical care to care recipients and their families ensuring clinical, emotional and care needs are achieved in accordance with care plans, best practice and legislative requirements working with a team of Registered Nurses (RN’s), Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs), Residential Care Assistants (RCAs), General practitioners (GPs) and Allied Health professionals. The CNM is required to use their clinical expertise to coach, mentor and support their clinical team to deliver clinical care in accordance with TGSH Policies, Procedures and Processes. The day-to-day Work with scope of practice and registration with AHPRA. Work in accordance with the values, policies and procedures within TGSH Maintain and enhance care recipient health, well-being, capabilities, independence choices, privacy, dignity and safety. Provide best practice in clinical care and lifestyle service delivery. Foster best practice and effective performance by workforce and an ongoing learning environment Ensure a safe working and living environment. Fulfil TGSH duty of care. legal and professional practice responsibilities by operating within a professional and ethical framework Ensure care recipients receive effective, efficient, comprehensive and holistic focused care in a home like setting Qualifications Registered Nurse (Division 1) - Current Registration with Australian health Practitioners Regulation Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Maintain currency with NDIS Worker Access Requirements Key Responsibilities The CNM is responsible for the provision of leadership and clinical stewardship that ensures the delivery of quality clinical and personal care actively promoting a person- centred philosophy by working collaboratively with all levels of management, registered and care staff, families/carers and other health professionals; The CNM will contribute to the achievement of a standard of care which exceeds the minimum requirements established by relevant legislation; Care to be coordinated and delivered with a problem-solving approach ensuring the concerns of care/recipients and family and the community are addressed in a manner that is considered to be above industry standard; The CNM will ensure the leadership, direction, coordination and efficient management of the responsible clinical environment in accordance with TGSH values; Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict; Great communicate skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team; Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills; Excellent written documentation and assessment skills; A good knowledge of the AN-ACC funding instrument and aged care accreditation standards; Your benefits 5 weeks annual leave Competitive salary packaging options up to $15,990, Novated leasing, plus Meal and Entertainment card up to $2,600 per annum.
