With a strong market position and a clear growth agenda, the business is seeking a senior commercial leader to help shape performance, support operations and drive disciplined, sustainable growth.
Role
This is a senior role that sits at the heart of the organisation, working in close partnership with executive leadership and operational teams across a multi‐site network. Reporting to an ANZ executive, this role will lead the commercial function and act as a key partner to operations, ensuring financial insight directly informs operational decision‐making. The successful candidate will balance strategic leadership with hands‐on commercial execution, providing clarity, governance and commercial discipline across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the ANZ commercial function, partnering closely with operations, sales and executive leadership
* Drive budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis and performance reporting across the region
* Provide commercial insight to support operational efficiency, asset utilisation and capacity planning
* Oversee investment analysis, capital expenditure and major commercial initiatives
* Support contract review, pricing decisions and customer profitability analysis
* Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, executive‐level insights
* Lead, mentor and develop a high‐performing commercial team
* Contribute to strategic planning, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
About you
* CA or CPA qualification preferred
* Experience within manufacturing, transport, logistics or industrial services environments is highly desirable
* Demonstrated experience across finance and operations, ideally within asset‐intensive or complex environments
* Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience partnering closely with operational leaders
* Proven people leader, capable of building and developing high‐performing teams
* Commercially astute, detail‐oriented and able to operate at both strategic and operational levels
