This morning I have been tasked with finding a Externals Site Manager to lead a external package on a MOJ project in Cambridgeshire.
The external project is valued at £17m and consists of a s278 works, groundworks, hard and soft landscaping, piling and concrete frames. There is a Senior Project Manager based on site who you will report to, your role is to lead the package and sequence a safe area to work in.
Responsibilities for the Externals Manager
* Attending and contributing in contractor pre start meetings.
* Attending and contributing in design team meetings.
* Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
* Attending safe starts.
* Approving RAMS.
* Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members.
* Identifying potential problems, but offering buildability solutions.
* Someone who is tech savvy.
* Someone who can engage with the supply chain and other team members.
Requirements for External Manager
* SMSTS
* CSCS
* First Aid at Work
What is being offered
* Day rate between £280-320CIS a day
* Temporary to permanent option
* Opportunity to work with a helpful site team
