Asset Performance Officer (Maintenance Solutions)
About the Role
This role works in the Maintenance Solutions team and is responsible for the seamless service delivery to tenants ensuring that their maintenance concerns are effectively resolved, especially maintenance issues of a complex nature that require additional diagnosis, investigation and co-ordination of resources across Homes NSW to facilitate the required outcome.
The role works with a team of staff with skills and expertise in asset maintenance who work in collaboration with the Maintenance Response Centre to deliver on the Maintenance Solutions team's intent of providing first time solutions to tenant's that report maintenance issues.
Your Key Responsibilities
* As an Asset Performance Officer in the Maintenance Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering timely, accurate, and effective determinations on complex maintenance matters.
* You will be responsible for verifying contractor compliance with maintenance contract requirements, ensuring the effective delivery of works, and upholding high standards of asset management.
* You will also be responsible for reporting emerging issues to management and providing recommendations to continually enhance asset program delivery and minimise impacts.
Requirements
* Sound experience or exposure in building maintenance, construction, or a related field, along with experience in contract administration, including preparing quotations or estimates.
* Strong knowledge of contract requirements, standards, and policies, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
* Current working knowledge of Australian Building Codes.
* Relevant qualification and/or substantial experience in construction building maintenance and/or building construction, along with field inspection experience and the ability to measure performance against standards.
* Current NSW Driver's License.
