About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller to design, develop, and maintain scalable data models that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, along with hands-on experience in data warehousing and modern data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Develop and maintain data warehouse (DW) and dimensional models (Star/Snowflake schemas)
Work closely with Data Engineers to support ETL/ELT processes
Ensure data integrity, quality, consistency, and governance standards
Maintain metadata, data dictionaries, and documentation
Support data migration and integration initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Data Modelling
Strong understanding of ER modelling, normalization, denormalization
Experience with data warehousing concepts (Kimball/Inmon methodologies)
Hands-on experience with tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Lucidchart
Strong SQL skills and database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – preferred
Knowledge of big data environments (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) – plus
