SnapWireless is looking for a Senior Industrial Designer to help shape the next generation of our products, from early ideas through to real, finished products in customers' hands.
This role goes beyond pure design. We're looking for someone who enjoys owning the full journey: ideation, design, iteration, and working closely with suppliers to bring products to life.

About the Role
As our Industrial Designer, you'll work directly with the founders and key suppliers to develop new products and improve existing ones.
You'll be involved from blank-page ideas through to manufacturing-ready designs, working closely with suppliers and and external engineers to ensure designs are not only beautiful, but manufacturable and commercially viable.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate new product ideas aligned with the SnapWireless brand and roadmap
* Create mood boards and early concept exploration
* Develop industrial designs (CAD, form, materials, finishes)
* Iterate designs based on feedback, testing, and supplier constraints
* Work directly with overseas suppliers and manufacturers to bring designs to life
* Assist with product development timelines, revisions, and production readiness
* Ensure designs balance aesthetics, usability, cost, and manufacturability
* Collaborate with marketing and content teams to support product launches
About You
You're not just a designer, you understand how products actually get made.
You enjoy working across design and development, asking the right questions, and solving real-world constraints without losing design intent.
You should have:
* Experience as an Industrial Designer (consumer products preferred)
* Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar)
* A good eye for form, materials, colour, and finishes
* Comfort working with suppliers and manufacturers
* An interest in tech, accessories, or consumer electronics
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience in consumer tech or electronics
* Exposure to product management or development workflows
* Experience taking products from concept to mass production
