The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or Senior Associate to join our leading Project Finance team in Melbourne.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Partner, Gerard Pike, a leading project finance and renewable energy practitioner and leading partners Miles Wadley and Jon Evans with exciting energy and infrastructure project finance practices.
You will gain high-end advisory and transactional experience working on significant project and asset acquisition finance, renewable energy and infrastructure financing transactions.
You will have extensive client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. You will benefit from exceptional learning opportunities working in a team of highly ambitious and talented professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
an unrestricted Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate;
3+ years' legal experience;
preferably experience across project finance matters from a leading top tier, national or international private practice or at least extensive general or structured finance transaction experience from a leading top tier, national or international private practice;
an excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset;
a proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team;
an ability to work to tight timeframes, collaboratively and at times autonomously;
excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team; and
have a hunger to learn and develop, and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice.

The Project Finance practice is at the forefront of developing innovative project financing structures working on the highest profile energy and infrastructure deals in in Australia and New Zealand and providing solutions for our diverse top tier client base. This team acts both borrower and bank side on transactions.
