About the Opportunity Our client has supported people living with spinal chord injury for more than 50 years. They are seeking a measured, experienced and strategic Nurse Educator who will be responsible for building workforce capability and driving excellence in clinical care across the organisations services. You will possess specialist expertise in spinal cord injury and neurological disabilities, delivering staff training, clinical education and capability-building for all team members including Registered Nurses and Personal Support Workers. This is a pivotal role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. You will work independently and with influence, combining on-the-ground clinical insight with structured training design and delivery, focussing on NDIS compliance and family-centred care. You'll need to think of your feet, remain composed under pressure, and lead with integrity. Skills and Experience Essential Registered Nurse and current AHPRA registration. Extensive clinical experience preferably within disability, spinal cord injury, rehabilitation or community care settings. Experience in Clinical Education and Training including designing, delivering and evaluating training programs. Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks specifically in-depth understanding of NDIS standards. Proven ability to lead clinical projects and change initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Sydney region between residential and community settings. Desirable Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Education, Adult Learning, Health Leadership or similar. Familiarity within the unique needs of individuals with spinal cord injury and/or neurological disabilities within the NDIS framework.
