Overview
The Senior Change & Data Services Advisor plays a critical role in supporting and enabling successful change initiatives and data support within the Department for Education's People & Culture Systems division. Reporting to the People and Culture Change Manager, the role will collaborate with stakeholders to assess change impacts, support business readiness, and drive the effective adoption of new systems and processes. The role involves coordinating and implementing change activities across departments, contributing to the development of change management strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication to embed changes sustainably across the Department. Additionally, the Advisor supports the P&C Systems Project Lead and contributes to improving HR service delivery by enhancing policies, procedures, and practices, including resolving system issues, updating inaccurate data, and assisting with system-related training and documentation, as well as supporting documentation and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and implement change activities across departments.
* Contribute to the development of change management strategies and conduct risk assessments.
* Assess change impacts, support business readiness, and drive adoption of new systems and processes with effective stakeholder communication.
* Support the P&C Systems Project Lead; improve HR service delivery by enhancing policies, procedures, and practices.
* Resolve system issues, update data accuracy, and assist with system-related training and documentation.
* Support documentation and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Essential: Nil
* Desirable: Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Human Resources or a related field.
* Skills: Exceptional communication (verbal and written), high attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management abilities, strong stakeholder management, and a positive "can do" attitude.
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to employment, renewed every five years. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, updated every three years. Remuneration
ASO6 $98,478 - $104,165 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
