Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Audiologist/Audiometrist based in Port Lincoln, South Australia. The role involves performing comprehensive hearing assessments, providing diagnostic and rehabilitative services, and offering client-focused hearing solutions. You will collaborate with patients to recommend and fit hearing aids and other assistive devices, as well as provide follow-up care and counseling to ensure positive outcomes. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation and staying updated on advances in audiology practices and technology.
Qualifications
* Strong technical skills in conducting hearing assessments, fitting hearing aids, and providing rehabilitative care
* Knowledge of patient counseling, customer service, and personalized hearing care solutions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse clients
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed
* Experience with modern audiology equipment and software applications
* Relevant qualifications in Audiology or Audiometry, alongside professional registration and licensing as required in South Australia
* Current driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations, if necessary
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge of the latest trends and innovations in hearing healthcare
