As a Program Scheduler, you’ll coordinate project timelines, optimise resources across diverse construction programs, ensuring a smooth delivery and a strong workforce development. QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. 
About The Role 
You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing program scheduling expertise. 
Duties And Skills Involved 
- Utilise contemporary scheduling systems to develop, review and administer schedules to coordinate construction and delivery of multiple projects/programs delivered by QBuild. This includes schedules and plans for current and future pipeline projects in accordance with critical resourcing and time constraints. 
- Collaborating with Apprentice Supervisors and the QBuild Apprenticeship team and other stakeholders as required to schedule QBuild apprentices to appropriate projects / maintenance tasks to ensure training competencies are achieved. 
- Developing detailed schedules that support the delivery of programs in collaboration with the delivery teams. 
- Developing and maintaining a project / program of work status dashboard to provide detailed and accurate reporting on construction programs and resource utilization. 
- Collaborating with key stakeholders in QBuild to drive consistency of the project / programs of work scheduling approach and facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting. 
- Consulting and coordinating with Delivery teams and other stakeholders as required to develop and regularly update detailed schedules to plan and resolve resourcing issues and escalating issues where required to Regional Management teams.
