Mental Health Professional Roles
We are seeking experienced mental health professionals to fill various roles in our organization. As a mental health professional, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require support and care in acute settings, community outreach, and other areas of mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide critical support and care to patients in acute settings, managing urgent mental health crises and coordinating with emergency services.
* Work in fast-paced environments, making rapid impacts during high-pressure situations.
* Deliver consistent, supportive care to individuals requiring more intensive mental health support.
* Manage daily assessments, administer medication, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help stabilize and rehabilitate patients on their path to recovery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse or relevant mental health qualifications without restrictions.
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years in mental health nursing, particularly in case management.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients and team members.
* Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
* Transportation: A valid driver's license for regional and remote roles.
* Flexibility: Willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote areas for at least 12 weeks.
