When incidents happen, our response defines the experience for our clients. As our Operations & Incident Response Manager, you'll lead network and security operations and own major incident response end-to-end across the business.

This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, values disciplined processes, and knows how to run incidents with authority, evidence, and confidence, while keeping clients and stakeholders informed every step of the way.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CTO, you'll be accountable for the performance and maturity of network operations, security response, and incident management across the business.

You'll ensure the organisation operates with a disciplined, measurable, client-ready approach to operational reliability and cyber resilience, covering service outages, security events, backup and recoverability monitoring, and structured communication.

This is an Adelaide-based role with real visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead operational and security teams (including offshore resources), setting clear priorities and performance expectations
* Own the end-to-end incident management framework for major service disruptions and security incidents
* Coordinate monitoring, triage, escalation, restoration, and post-incident reviews
* Lead client and stakeholder communications during incidents with clarity and confidence
* Establish operational reporting and metrics, driving continuous improvement through evidence and outcomes

About You

You'll bring:

* Proven experience leading an operations, security operations, or incident management function in an MSP or enterprise environment
* Strong major incident leadership experience in high-pressure environments
* Solid understanding of network operations, monitoring and alerting, and backup/recovery concepts
* Practical experience with security incident response workflows
* Proven people leadership capability and excellent communication skills
* You're structured, decisive, and trusted when it matters most.
