**About the role**:
As a Advanced Software Engineer, you'll get to work on developing new software innovations using your engineering discipline and software development experience. You'll initially get to develop new capabilities for our Experion PKS software platform for Life Sciences customers, who have manufacturing plants around the world producing products such as medicines. You'll be responsible for timely delivery and quality of the software you develop within an agile software development process, supported by a great team around you.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform software engineering tasks to develop product enhancements to Honeywell's market leading solutions for buildings
- Regularly depended on in one or more areas of expertise with depth of knowledge in related field and breadth of knowledge in general fields.
- Provide responsive design centre customer support for software solutions developed
- Actively participate in technical strategic planning
- Interacts with team members and peers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues.
**Key Experience & Capabilities**:
- 4-8+ years software engineering experience
- Familiar with analysis, design, coding, testing and support of software
- Tertiary qualification in, computer science, Electrical, Mechatronics engineering or engineering
- Software experience in C/C++, JSON, HTML5, CSS or JavaScript is highly preferred
- Experience with Agile development, TDD, CI/CD, unit testing is highly valued
- Experience in SQL Server or similar database technologies and C#
