Responsibilities
Drive Meaningful Financial Insights: Deliver analysis and reporting on trust accounts to support transparency, accuracy, and strategic funding decisions across SVHNS and TSVH.
Work with Major Finance Systems: Support the Oracle financial structure while managing contracts, income, and lease agreements to keep critical operations running smoothly.
Connect Finance with the Front Line: Collaborate with Trust Accountants, Senior Finance Business Partners, and operational leaders to ensure financial processes support real hospital outcomes.
Support Budgets & Compliance: Contribute to the development of trust account budgets and help deliver financial and operational objectives across the network.
Join a Purpose-Driven Team: Be part of a collaborative finance environment working closely with HealthShare and other services to ensure timely payments and strong financial performance.
Qualifications
Holds a degree in accounting, business, commerce, or a related field, with membership in a professional accounting body (or equivalent experience).
Experience in complex finance environments: Proven background in financial analysis and / or accounts payable within large, multifaceted organisations.
Strong communicator: Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels.
Proactive and solutions-focused: Shows sound judgement, works independently, and takes initiative to solve problems and enhance processes.
Technically skilled & detail-driven: Experienced in large financial systems—Oracle experience highly regarded—with strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.

About the Hospital
St Vincent's hospital, Darlinghurst: A busy inner-city hospital in a beautiful location, surrounded by great cafes, galleries and theatres, parks, nightlife, and nearby glorious beaches.
Provides expert clinical care for at-risk people and is closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes.
Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer care, AIDS / HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health, homeless health, drug & alcohol services, and correctional health.
