Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Integration Engineer with strong hands‐on experience in Azure Integration Services (AIS) and .NET‐based development. The ideal candidate should be capable of contributing to integration solutions from day one, with minimal ramp‐up, and have proven experience building scalable, event‐driven integration architectures.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement cloud‐native integration solutions using Azure services
* Build and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)
* Develop event‐driven architectures leveraging Service Bus, messaging, and Azure Functions
* Implement integrations using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions
* Develop and maintain high‐quality code using .NET Core, C#, and SQL
* Containerize workloads and deploy using Azure Container Apps (ACA) where required
* Ensure secure integration patterns, including authentication, authorization, and data protection
* Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration solutions
* Define and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Bicep/ARM/Terraform)
* Enable monitoring and observability using Azure‐native tools (App Insights, logging, alerts)
* Produce solution design documents (HLD/LLD) and integration architecture diagrams
* Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams in an Agile environment
Required Skills & Experience
* Hands‐on expertise with:
* Solid understanding of event‐driven and microservices‐based architectures
* Strong development experience in .NET Core, C#, and SQL
* Experience with containers and Azure Container Apps (ACA)
* Knowledge of integration security best practices
* Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
* Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
* Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks
* Strong understanding of error handling and distributed system resilience patterns
Nice to Have
* Experience with Python for automation or integration utilities
* Exposure to high‐throughput or real‐time integration systems
* Prior experience in financial services / superannuation domain
Soft Skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Quick learner with ability to work in fast‐paced delivery environments
* Strong collaboration within Agile teams
Key Success Factors
* Ability to contribute to coding immediately with minimal ramp‐up
* Strong AIS + C# hands‐on capability (not just high‐level cloud knowledge)
