Lady Tradies specialises in building insurance repairs—primarily for residential properties affected by events such as storms. Our team works professionally and respectfully in private homes, aiming to leave each site as clean and tidy as we found it. Time management, cleanliness, and strong communication are essential.
About the role:
Your work schedule will be flexible and based on volume. At present, our team are typically working around 38 hours per week. This is an employee-wage role, so you'll be part of the Lady Tradies team, not working as a subcontractor.
* Work may involve long or short days, with some travel across SE QLD (from Gympie to Tweed to Toowoomba).
* Multiple jobs may be assigned per day, or just one, depending on demand.
* If you arrive at a job that isn't ready and no other work is available, we offer a 4-hour minimum payment.
Tasks may include:
* Interior and exterior painting.
* Surface prep: sanding, gap filling, cleaning, masking.
* Moving furniture, working on scaffolding
* Ensuring sites are left clean and tidy.
You'll need to be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and confident representing the Lady Tradies brand in client homes.
What you'll need:
* Strong painting experience and attention to detail.
* Great communication and customer service skills.
* A friendly, reliable attitude and a team mindset.
* A manual driver's license preferred (not essential) and confidence driving in varied conditions.
* A current police check and valid WHS White Card (both required before site access).
