Responsibilities
Responsible for development of the aeronautical planning across Adelaide and Parafield Airports including supporting the development the airport Master Plans and concept plan development through to funding support.
Responsible for the development of the aeronautical capital plan to support airline pricing agreements considering demand and capacity assessments.
Manage the strategic planning of aeronautical developments at Adelaide and Parafield Airport through the coordination, delivery and implementation of terminal, airfield and ground transport (including car parks) plans, acknowledging changes that will occur over time to the plans.
Contribute to the development and approval of the Airport Master Plans for Adelaide and Parafield Airports.
Ensure that plans are in place for aeronautical (terminal and airfield) facilities to provide the business with short-, medium- and long-term capacity in line with forecast demand.
This includes opportunities for optimisation, emerging trends and analysis of capacity and demand.
Play a critical role in airline engagement for infrastructure projects as part of the airline commercial engagement.
Progress identified terminal and airfield infrastructure developments, through the internal and external design and approval processes, scoping, project cost plan and timelines with the support of the delivery team.
Analyse passenger growth data and emerging industry trends to determine capacity and future capacity of our airport infrastructure.
Monitor emerging industry trends and determine suitability for adaption for Adelaide and Parafield Airports.
Deliver technical guidance for the planning of a new terminal or airport facilities.
Ensure that agreements are in place for timing provision of ground transport changes inline with a clear development plan for ground transport.
Plans will be support by the technical inputs from the Infrastructure Development Team.
Manage specialist consultants conducting studies in support of the planning process.
Ensure airport safeguarding provisions are developed, understood and the airport is protected.
Contribute to the development of the capital plans for Adelaide and Parafield Airports for aeronautical capital infrastructure.
Establish effective internal and external working relationships and provide high standards of customer service.

Essential
Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Airport Operations or Construction Degree or relevant experience
A minimum of ***** years of experience in engineering, development, construction, airport operations and / or planning fields.
Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of strategic infrastructure planning.
Strong commercial acumen.
Demonstrated ability to plan and make decisions which consider a large number of criteria (E.g. technical, sustainability, capital and operating costs, maintenance, program, community etc).
Demonstrated experience managing projects and consultants to achieve quality, program and budget outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Collaborative and adaptable approach to prioritising your work.
Strong and confident communications skills to handle all stakeholders, including staff, developers, consultants, contractors, service providers, relevant local and state authorities.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills including, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Project.
Experience with management of staff.
Drivers Licence
Desirable
Experience in the aviation sector and / or understanding of airport operations and legislative requirements.
