Join a forward-thinking company that is revolutionising recycling operations across Australia. With an extensive network of conveniently located depots and express collection points, they have an opportunity for a Depot Manager to join their South Brisbane team.
Your new role
As a Depot Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of the depot while leading a small dedicated team. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a positive workplace culture. You'll oversee the sorting of recyclable products, ensure accurate handling of refunds, and continuously seek ways to enhance efficiency.
* Leading and managing a small team to provide excellent customer service
* Coordinate staff rosters and oversee casual workforce management
* Ensuring recyclable items are correctly sorted and processed
* Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate financial records
* Proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction
* Recruiting, training, and supporting staff to maintain a safe and effective work environment
* Enforcing health and safety procedures and addressing potential hazards
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience managing a small to medium-sized team
* Background in retail, hospitality, warehousing, or customer service (highly desirable)
* The physical capability to thrive in a fast-paced recycling environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
