The role
Hudson Marketing Pty Ltd is hiring a Full time Front End Loader Operator role on the Narngulu site in Geraldton, WA.
Requirements
- Candidate available to work mornings Monday through Friday.
- 1 year of relevant work experience required.
- Current HR licence and valid driver's licence.
- Experienced forklift and loader operator.
- Proactive, punctual and reliable attitude with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Strong knowledge of plant operations and stockpile management.
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding plant equipment and troubleshooting.
- Competent numeracy and literacy skills.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Oversee quality of raw material intake and movement into the ore shed; manage stockpile; operate front‐end machinery; ensure production flow into downstream packing to achieve daily targets; operate front end loader and forklift.
- Team work: Work in a small team of operators, ensuring safe and productive behaviour; coordinate with the Site Manager and other supervisors on daily production plans.
- Safety compliance: Enforce WHS standards and company policies; complete pre‐start checks and take‐five; conduct shutdown procedures; hold toolbox talks; identify hazards; complete incident reports; maintain a safety‐first culture.
- Equipment oversight: Monitor conveyors, elevators, hoppers, crushers, dryer, screens and other machinery; perform preventative maintenance; troubleshoot and perform repairs; keep work areas clean.
- Quality control: Ensure product meets specifications; manage contamination risks; complete quality checks and documentation; coordinate sampling and laboratory testing.
- Workflow coordination: Communicate with production, maintenance, logistics and contractor teams to meet daily targets and ensure a safe worksite.
- Reporting: Record production data, downtime, safety actions and shift summaries.
- Continuous improvement: Identify bottlenecks, propose process improvements and support efficiency initiatives.
