The Opportunity
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Ascott Gardens Hostel in our Central West Region. This role involves performing cooking and kitchen duties, with availability required on weekends.
We seek individuals committed to providing high-quality care to facility residents through maintaining excellent cooking and food service standards.
What you will bring to the role:
Experience in planning, preparing, and cooking fresh meals
Experience in table service and clearing duties
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or bulk food preparation (desirable)
Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance
Experience in Aged Care (desirable)
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
Excellent communication skills
Team-oriented and highly motivated
Availability to work various shifts across different days

The successful candidate must be willing to undertake:
