About the role
Chappell Precast Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Precast Concrete Worker to join our team in Kurri Kurri, NSW. This is a casual role, with the option of leading to a fulltime position for the right candidate. As a Precast Concrete Worker, you will play a vital role in the production of high-quality precast concrete products, contributing to the success of our business.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting with the preparation, mixing, and pouring of concrete into moulds
2. Operating machinery and equipment used in the precast concrete manufacturing process
3. Performing quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards
4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
5. Adhering to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or precast concrete industry
2. Familiarity with the use of power tools and machinery used in the precast concrete industry
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
5. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn
6. Australian work rights are required for this position
7. Cert III in Formwork or equivalent proven experience in formwork, steelfixing and all aspects of precast concrete manufacturing processes an advantage
8. Valid car driver licence and own reliable transport
9. Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) certification
