About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance leader to step into an interim Financial Controller role within a highly regarded, private equity–backed business.
This well-known brand is seeking support for approximately three months while they complete a permanent recruitment process. For the right person, there is strong potential to transition into the permanent position.
Based at Yatala, this hands-on role will see you manage a small finance team while ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Lead and mentor a small, capable finance team
* Run month-end, management reporting, and statutory compliance
* Manage consolidated group reporting, cashflow and forecasting
* Deliver accurate and timely consolidated financial results
* Provide financial insights to senior stakeholders
About You:
You are an experienced Financial Controller with a proven track record of working at group level in a complex environment, ideally within an inventory heavy industry.
With strong technical accounting knowledge and a pragmatic, hands-on approach, you are comfortable operating at both detail and strategic levels. Experience within a private equity or fast-paced commercial environment will be highly regarded.
